Interview with Gabrielle Olivia Starkes
Gabrielle Olivia is bubbly and so is her business! Gabrielle started her business, GO! Bubbles Soap, to give kids soaps that are fun, eco-friendly, ‘smellicious’ and colourful - not just white and boring! She hopes to spread joy and health-awareness at a time where hand-washing and practicing good hygiene is more important than ever. With a range of fun products and goals in the pipeline, Gabrielle is just getting started on her business journey.
Wanting to know more, Kebloom reached out to Gabrielle to chat about soaps, business and fun!
1) Please introduce yourself.
I’m Gabrielle Olivia, I’m 8 years old and I live in Orlando, Florida.

2) What is the name of your business and how did you come up with it?
The name of business is GO! Bubbles. I came up with the name because my name is Gabrielle Olivia and I have a bubbly personality,
3) Tell us a little bit about GO! Bubbles.
I make fun and earth-friendly skincare for kids! I make toys soaps, fun shaped bar soaps, natural lip balm in fun flavors and colors and more! My products also help and relieve skin conditions like eczema and dryness!

4) Who are your customers?
My customers are girls and boys ages 3 - 13 who love fun, colorful and smellicious soaps!
5) What passions inspired the creation of GO! Bubbles?
I watched my mom make skincare products, so I decided I wanted to make skincare products for kids. I wanted my own business so kids could stop using the plain white grown-up soaps, kids should use colorful soaps!
6) What skills have you developed running your business?
I’ve learned how to make soap and lip balm, I’ve learned how to greet my customers and to sell my products, and I’ve learned how to make money!
7) What are your current goals and what is your ultimate goal?
My currents goals are to obtain grants to hire a branding specialist and to repackage my products. I want to get my skincare products into retail stores so more people can buy them. I think kids all over the world will love my soaps!
My ultimate goal is to save my money and become a doctor!
8) What is your advice for other young entrepreneurs?
My advice to young entrepreneurs is: don’t let anybody get in your way of following your dreams
