Sissy B Nails Inc is all about creating nail polish for kids that is toxin free, scent free and water-based. Inspired by her own experiences with kid-unfriendly nail polish, Khiley Braxton decided to found her own company. She has a few big dreams… a) to become TikTok famous, b) to sell a lot of nail polish and c) to save for college. Her sassy demeanour and big goals prove that Khiley is definitely not to be underestimated!

1) Please introduce yourself.
Hi, my name is Khiley Braxton and I go by Sissy B. I am the CEO and owner of Sissy B Nails. I am 10 years old and I started Sissy B during the pandemic.

2) What is the name of your business?
The name of my business is Sissy B Nails Inc.
3) Tell us a little bit about Sissy B Nails.
Sissy B Nails is especially for kids. It’s scent-free, toxin-free and water based. It also looks cute on your nails!

4) What passions inspired Sissy B Nails?
The passion that inspired my business is that I love to do my nails. But, back then when I used to do my nails it used to be so strong and my mom used to get a little bit upset, because it used to smell up the whole house! So, for Sissy B Nails I made it toxin-free and scent-free, especially for kids.
5) What skills have you developed?
What I learned from having a nail polish business is math. I am especially proud because I have grown in my math and my math tutor has been working with me to count [for] Sissy B Nails. Also, time management. I have to finish all my work before I can even start [work for] Sissy B Nails.
6) What are your current business goals and what is your ultimate one?
The goals for me are to inspire other kids to have their own business, also to be TikTok famous and to sell lots of nail polish. My ultimate goal is to have enough money to enrol in college.
7) What advice would you give to other young entrepreneurs/dreams?
The advice I would give to other young entrepreneurs is that if you want to start your own business: never give up, show integrity and be kind.
