Interview with Reese Huntington
Meet Reese Huntington, a young animal lover from the US, who’s also now the CEO of her own animal fashion brand!
It began as an fun project while Reese was learning from home but when she started getting interest from friends she realized she had a real potential to turn her two passions- sewing and animals- into a business! After taking a workshop with us here at Kebloom she felt equipped with the skills to take on the industry!
Wanting to learn more about her process and what it is like to start a company so young, Kebloom got in contact with Reese:
1) Please introduce yourself.
Hi, my name is Reese Huntington and I am 10 years old. I'm the founder of Furry Fashions by Reese.

2) Tell us a little bit about Furry Fashions?
Furry Fashions is a business I started to make bandanas for pets. I have two dogs that I love, and I recently learned how to sew. So, one day I decided to sew bandanas for my pets and then all my friends wanted some for their dogs too. That's how I got things started with Furry Fashions.
3) Who are your customers?
My customers are anyone that loves dogs or cats and anyone that loves to dress up their pet and be festive!

4) What passions inspired Furry Fashions?
I love dogs and I also love sewing! So that's how I, that's why, I combined those two to make my Furry Fashions business.
5) What skills have you developed from running your business?
I developed sewing skills and marketing skills. I learned how to market my business and get the word out.
6) What advice would you give to other young entrepreneurs?
I want other kids to know that it's most important to believe in yourself and also to follow your dreams. So that's what I did with sewing and dogs- all combined!
7) What are your current goals and what is your ultimate business goal?
My current goal is to get the word out and my long-term goal is to sell all over the world in pet stores!

8) Anything else you’d like to add?
This is my packaging, and I'm going to show you my Furry Fashions bandana.
This is a Furry Fashions Bandana. This is the small size. And basically you just fit the collar through this hole here and then pull it out and wrap it around their neck and it looks really beautiful!
